Photographers
PICTO produces the exhibitions of the greatest photographers, assists artists in the creation of their collection prints and advises galleries and museums on the design of their installations.
For 70 years Picto has been a reference for image professionals. Specialists in the graphic chain, we are committed to combining traditional expertise with new technologies.
Founded in 1950 by my grandfather, Pierre Gassmann, a humanist and friend of the photographers of his time, Picto assists authors with all their photographic projects.

The laboratory’s craftsmen put their passion and expertise at the service of photographers’ ideas, needs and images. From traditional printing to enlarging, large format printing on any medium, including the production of fine art inkjet prints and online access to services with Picto Online, all our expertise is at the service of photographers and their partners.
In the tradition of “seeing through the eyes of others” dear to Pierre Gassmann, its founder, Picto is also a partner for photographers by accompanying them in their photographic journey. This ambition is reflected in the programming of the Picto Foundation endowment fund, in the running of the photographic bookshop La Comète and in the organisation of workshops for photographers.
