• Code of conduct:
Picto is committed to respecting moral and ethical values in the management of its organisation, in compliance with the ILO conventions. The company has therefore adopted a code of conduct and expects its suppliers and subcontractors to respect and adhere to the same philosophy.

• Ethics and transparency:
Picto respects and makes its partners respect the ban on all forms of corruption.

• Corporate sponsorship:
With Picto Foundation, its endowment fund, Picto’s ambition is to support the actors of the sector in their initiatives putting experimenting with images at the heart of creative projects.

Certifications

Since 2009, the the Imprim’vert label has been awarded to Picto by the Pôle d’innovation de l’imprimerie (P2i). It rewards companies that respect 5 key points :
√ good waste management
√ securing and storing products (new and awaiting collection) to avoid any risk of accidental pollution,
√ the exclusion of toxic products (marked with a skull) from warehouses
√ raising customer awareness of good practices maintaining an eco-attitude,
√ monitoring energy consumption

Since 2018, we have also been Silver Recognition Level certified by Ecovadis, a leading expert in CSR evaluation and rating according to international sustainable development standards such as the United Nations Global Compact. The assessment is centred around four main themes: the environment, fair working conditions, ethics and responsible purchasing.

Last year, in 2020 we obtained our chain of custody certifications on the FSC® and PEFC™ labels.

These FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) labels have set up specifications unique to each of them so that the production of wood respects procedures guaranteeing sustainable forest management.

FSC® certification:
Its objective is to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. This means environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management to meet the needs of present and future generations.

Our FSC Mixed and Recycled certification implies our commitment to use only paper or board from well-managed FSC® certified forests, recycled or from other controlled sources.

PEFC™ certification:
It certifies sustainable forest management and centres around a multifunctional and balanced vision of the forest in 53 countries around the world. For 20 years, PEFC France has promoted the balance between the environmental, societal and economic dimensions of the forest through guarantees of sustainable practices
