Carte Blanche Students 2018
2nd Edition
Paris Photo, Picto Foundation and Gares & Connexions renew for a second year Carte Blanche Students, a program dedicated to promote students and emerging talent in master and bachelor programmes in European photography and visual arts schools. A panel of art world professionals will meet next June to select the 4 laureates.
TWO OBJECTIVES TO PROMOTE YOUNG TALENT
The 4 laureates, invited to Paris during the fair, will benefit from access to Paris Photo, where they will have the possibility to meet and exchange with experts and professionals in photography and the art market (artists, curators, gallerists, publishers,…). A round-table discussion highlighting the 4 selected projects will also be organised as part of the Paris Photo Platform series focusing on emerging talent and its position in the art market.

The 4 laureates’ projects will be presented in an exhibition at Paris Gare du Nord train station in spaces dedicated to cultural events (tarpaulin supports and video screens) as well as to Paris Photo audiences at the Grand Palais (portfolios and round-table discussion).
